The Regional Ethics and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing ethics and compliance programs across the Area Business Organization (ABO) or region. The role supports Cummins Code of Business Conduct and focuses on reducing ethical and reputational risks while enabling business success. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with applicable laws and internal policies through proactive risk mitigation, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic program development.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Cummins’ global ethics and compliance strategy and tailor it for the regional/ABO context.
Develop and manage a regionally relevant compliance program, including policy creation, anti-corruption efforts, and ongoing program evaluation.
Collaborate with Internal Audit, Legal, and functional stakeholders to identify and implement compliance process improvements.
Design and deliver in-person compliance training for employees and third parties to supplement global online modules.
Create and disseminate communication materials to promote awareness of compliance programs and reinforce ethical leadership.
Lead third-party compliance efforts, including due diligence, export controls, and cross-border assessments, in partnership with legal and business teams.
Support investigations into major compliance risks, including bribery and policy violations, providing guidance, analyzing outcomes, and recommending mitigation measures.
Manage complex, cross-functional compliance projects across business units, geographies, and cultures.
Monitor and assess changes in relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies; use insights to inform compliance focus areas and strategic initiatives.

Additional Information
This is a regional leadership role that may require travel and cross-border coordination.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Legal education (LL.B. or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience:
5–7 years of relevant work experience in corporate compliance, legal, audit, or governance functions.
Proven experience managing compliance programs aligned with U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) guidelines.
Strong background in conducting or overseeing internal investigations.
Experience in third-party risk management, including due diligence and export control processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage regional compliance issues and drive culture change across functions and geographies.
