Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

• Develop ECAD library elements including electronic schematic symbols, PCB footprint cells and component 3D Models using the Mentor Graphics Siemens Xpedition/EDM tool suite
• Reviews for quality improvements and specification compliance
• Support our ECAD Administrators in testing and rolling out new features
• Interfacing with several different engineering tools and disciplines
• Support for CIP projects and maintain components over lifecycle
  
  

Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, or Physics.
• Two years of experience working with electronic components including semiconductors, passive components and electromechanical commodities and their applications
• Two years of experience in ECAD/PCB/EDA library development and layout design process
• Knowledge of the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, DMS, Xpedition, PADS Professional, DXdatabook, …) or other related ECAD software tools
• Understanding of IPC-7351 standard land patterns and/or other footprint calculation methods and standards
• Knowledge of ECAD library management practices and ECAD Library development principles to minimize design risks and hazards
• Shifting from one task to another as priorities dictate
