Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
• Utilize Selenium Grid for distributed and parallel execution across multiple environments.
• Develop and execute API automation using REST Assured, and validate workflows with Postman.
• Integrate automation test suites with Jenkins pipelines for continuous regression runs.
• Manage the test automation codebase in Git, ensuring proper branching and merging practices.
• Execute test suites, analyze failures, raise defects, and share results with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA teams to identify test scenarios and improve coverage.
• Apply strong knowledge of software testing principles including regression, smoke, and system testing.
• Track and monitor defects to closure using JIRA.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, and Selenium Grid.
• Proven experience with REST Assured & Postman for API testing.
• Hands-on experience integrating test suites with Jenkins pipelines/jobs for CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting frameworks (Allure, Extent Reports).
• Knowledge of Docker or cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Exposure to performance testing concepts and tools.
