Product Owner – Credit Score and Rating Solutions

We are seeking a Product Owner with strong domain knowledge in credit score, credit risk modeling, and rating systems. You will lead the product development and enhancement of our credit scoring and rating solutions, driving innovations that help financial institutions make informed lending decisions.

Role

Key Responsibilities

  Own and manage the product backlog for credit scoring and rating services.

  Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.

  Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and improvements.

  Translate complex credit risk and scoring concepts into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.

  Ensure compliance with industry regulations like FICO standards, Basel norms, and credit bureau reporting guidelines.

  Monitor product performance using KPIs like accuracy, model drift, and adoption rate.

  Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking in the credit scoring space.

  Act as the voice of the customer to ensure user-centric development and intuitive UX.

  Work with teams credit bureaus, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies for integrations and compliance needs.

  Lead product demos, stakeholder presentations, and sprint reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

  Overall 10+ year experience and 5+ years of experience in financial products, preferably in credit risk, credit score modeling, or banking.

  Strong understanding of credit score algorithms, risk ratings, and credit bureau data.

  Ability to translate technical and analytical concepts into business outcomes.

  Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and product roadmap software.

  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred

  Familiarity with FICO, Experian, TransUnion, CIBIL, or other credit bureaus.

  Exposure to regulatory frameworks like Basel II/III.

  Experience working with data science teams on model monitoring and improvement.
