Job Description
As a Market Lead you will be responsible for working out offers with company products, services, and solutions upon the request of account teams, business units, or formal requests by the customer. Analyze complex technical customer needs, within his / her specific circle of expertise and searches for optimized technical solutions. Is in charge of providing specific technical offer deliverables. Watches over the competitiveness of the internal and / or external suppliers and starts corrective actions if necessary. Makes technical presentations to customers, focusing on the uses and benefits to the customer, both during prospect and negotiation phases.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Interprets complex business issues and market developments to design innovative solutions that sustain competitive advantage and drive new product opportunities.
- Defines and optimises processes, standards, and best practices to strengthen prospecting, negotiations, and overall pre-sales effectiveness.
- Applies deep industry knowledge and market insights to influence buying decisions, achieve sales outcomes, and align with corporate goals.
- Serves as a senior subject matter expert at regional or global level, guiding stakeholders with best practices, technical expertise, and innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Leads cross-functional or virtual teams, manages resources, and drives capability building through training initiatives to strengthen organisational expertise.
- Consolidates and prioritises regional requirements across multiple business units, ensuring technical pre-sales strategies evolve with new technologies and portfolio changes.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- A graduate / postgraduate / equivalent degree with 7-10yrs of Proven ability to interpret business issues and market developments, translating insights into innovative solutions that secure competitive advantage.
- Strong expertise in defining processes, standards, and frameworks that optimize sales cycles, negotiations, and pre-sales efficiency.
- Deep understanding of industry dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer buying behavior, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions and achieving results.
- Experience leading cross-functional or virtual teams, managing resources, and acting as a senior subject matter expert at regional or global level.
It would be nice if you also have:
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to design novel concepts and introduce new approaches to complex business challenges
- Experience consolidating and prioritizing regional or multi-BU requirements to align with evolving technologies and portfolio transformations
