Responsibilities

• Collaborate with directors and producers to determine video specifications and work plans.
• Edit footage into timelines and cut time-limited promos and trailers.
• Enhance video and audio quality using modern editing techniques and tools.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to meet project requirements and standards.
• Create rough and final cuts that align with the intended artistic vision.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list.
• Manage and organize all projects and video files for easy access and retrieval.
• Select and incorporate music, dialogue, and sound effects into projects.
• Maintain continuity while moving shots according to scene value and story logic.
• Ensure all content produced is optimized across all platforms.
• Continuously research and implement new editing techniques and software updates.
• Collaborate with the graphic design team to include necessary graphics and animations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor with an impressive portfolio.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and video effects.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• A keen eye for detail and a good sense of timing and visual awareness.
• Hands-on experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
