Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary project details.
• Review construction blueprints to identify requirements and project scope.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and cost forecasts based on project specifics.
• Provide value engineering options to optimize project budgets and timelines.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gain comprehensive project insights.
• Prepare and submit tender documents in response to client and project proposals.
• Track ongoing project expenses to ensure consistency with original estimates.
• Maintain a repository of unit pricing and rates for reference in future bids.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and material availability.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project costs and schedules.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on forecasting, budgets, and variances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in estimating renovation and fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam.
• Exceptional numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project teams, clients, and vendors effectively.
