Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for ensuring that the company's products or services meet established quality standards. This professional leads the quality assurance team and oversees all activities pertaining to quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing quality management processes that enhance product reliability, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. The position requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices. The Quality Assurance Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer support, to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, systems, and tools.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of products and processes to ensure quality standards.
  • Lead a team of quality assurance professionals and provide guidance and supervision.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze quality assurance data and metrics to drive improvements in products and processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality objectives, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Manage external audits and interact with regulatory bodies concerning quality issues.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained in quality-related procedures and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Establish and maintain quality documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to assure quality of received materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a quality assurance management role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory standards.
  • Proven track record of improving product quality and operational processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
