Junior PHP Developer

About The Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Laravel, PHP, and related technologies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and delivering scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel framework.

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Design and manage database structures, queries, and optimizations using MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs/services.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Ensure security and data protection across platforms and applications.

Stay up-to-date with Laravel and PHP trends and best practices.

Work with project managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver timely solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on Laravel (minimum [X] years).

Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.

Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integration.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, etc. is a plus).

Understanding of unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
