Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Sales Manager to join the Aman Sales team, supporting five of our iconic properties across India, Sri Lanka and Bhutan: Amanbagh, Aman-I-Khas, Amangalla, Amanwella and Amankora. Based in Mumbai, this remote role requires travel for client meetings, site inspections, and event oversight. The role reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for managing the region’s event enquiries, from initial concept through to flawless execution, including weddings, private celebrations, buyouts, and intimate gatherings.
Responsibilities
Manage all event-related enquiries for the assigned properties, serving as the main point of contact for clients, planners, and internal teams.
Oversee the complete event sales cycle – from proposal development and contracting to coordination and handover to operations teams.
Design bespoke event concepts and presentations that reflect Aman’s brand of discreet, personalized luxury.
Ensure all proposals are tailored to client expectations while preserving brand positioning and operational feasibility.
Maintain close communication with property teams to ensure alignment on availability, pricing, logistics, and guest experience.
Conduct site visits, walkthroughs, and pre-event planning sessions with clients at each destination as required.
Collaborate with local and international planners to secure new leads and cultivate long-term relationships.
Work closely with Marketing, Reservations, and Revenue teams to maximise event visibility and revenue potential.
Represent Aman at key industry events, wedding fairs, and high-end showcases in target markets.
Maintain a detailed record of enquiries, conversions, revenue forecasts and post-event reporting using CRM tools.
Coordinate contracting, deposits, and payment tracking in line with property policies and financial standards.
Ensure each event reflects Aman’s essence – refined, intentional, and elevated in every detail.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in event sales, planning or luxury hospitality sales, preferably within ultra-luxury resorts or bespoke event management.
Proven success in managing high-value weddings, social events, and exclusive buyouts.
Strong understanding of regional and international luxury markets, especially HNWI expectations and trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by the business.
Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with global Aman sales strategies.
High levels of discretion, client sensitivity and emotional intelligence.
