Commodities Portfolio Pricing And Valuations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Commodities Pricing & Valuations Specialist to join a growing global team at Millennium. This is a high-impact, dynamic and fast-paced role offering broad exposure across commodity asset classes and strategies globally. You will work to control and support a platform that manages positions and produces pricing, pnl, valuations and risk exposures for managing commodity portfolios. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with multiple teams and departments and build a holistic knowledge base across commodities products, portfolio valuation, risk exposures and pricing modelling. This role is open for both the location - Bangalore and Mumbai

Principal Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the support and maintenance of a best-in-class real-time pricing, risk and p & l platform for Commodities.
• Build technical knowledge and contribute to the onboarding of new products in commodities to support a growing set of PM pods and portfolios.
• Design, implement and manage data and pricing controls to ensure the integrity of eod and real-time p & l and risk calculations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Quant Research, Risk, Middle Office, Operations and various Technology and Data teams across the firm.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a commodities trading house with working knowledge across energy, metals and softs markets.
• Experience with pricing and modelling forward curves and good understanding of market risk fundamentals.
• Experience with analyzing and explaining commodities pnl.
• Knowledge of non-linear/option products a plus.
• Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex system and data flows and dependencies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, showing attention to detail and strong ownership of work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
