Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and support for the cloud platform engineering team, including system design, code review, and ultimately be responsible for the health of the systems built by the team. 2. Serve as an established expert in cloud platform engineering with a deep knowledge and mastery of the field to support large scale Goodyear Intelligent Mobility Solutions initiatives. 3. Prioritize work for the cloud platform engineering team, making tradeoffs on design based on business constraints, ensuring on time deliverables and high-quality software. 4. Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external teams, on a routine basis to gain alignment. Monitor progress in the field and understand new technologies to enable our teams’ roadmap. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Experience translating complex feature requirements and design specifications into technical use cases. 2. Managing ambiguity AWS/Azure/Google reliable cloud platforms at scale, preferably serverless compute-related experiences. 3. Experience with automating and orchestrating the provisioning of application and infrastructure services along with tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack). 4. Experience working with data science/data engineering teams and using tools (e.g. Python, R, Java/Scala, Docker, Kubernetes). 5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 6. Have well-developed analytical skills, a person who is rigorous but pragmatic, being able to justify decisions with solid rationale Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical leadership. 2. This position is based at our Hyderabad office. 3. A 15 years full time education is required (Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, or any related stream).
