Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of professional experience in software engineering or enterprise application development.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) or a shared services platform in a large enterprise.
Experience working with and managing implementation partners or professional services vendors.
Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including experience with core IT Service Management/IT Asset Management (ITSM/ITAM) applications, the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and platform scripting (JavaScript, GlideAPIs).
Understanding of ITSM and ITAM processes and best practices (e.g., ITIL framework).
Ability to perform technical in-depth, review code and configurations, and contribute directly to architectural decisions and also to articulate technical ideas to your team and executive stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and provide technical mentorship to a growing team of Technical Leads and Software Engineers. You will be responsible for their coaching, career development.
Drive engineering delivery by actively participating in technical design reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning. Remove roadblocks by digging into technical problems with your team and ensuring solutions are scalable.
Partner with product managers and architects to define the strategy and technical roadmap for the Googler Technology and Engineering (GTE) ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE). You will be the engineering advocate for ITSM and ITAM.
Act as the teams executive technical authority, guiding best practices in platform configuration, scripting, and integration.
Play a key role in building the team from the ground up by attracting, interviewing, and hiring technical talent who are excellent builders and collaborators.
