As a Test Automation Engineer your core mission is to elevate our broadband devices quality through innovative test automation strategies. You will lead a talented team of automation engineers, driving efficiency and excellence while collaborating across global teams. By leveraging advanced analytical skills and modern automation frameworks, youll enhance our testing processes and enable faster time-to-market for groundbreaking technologies.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Enhance test automation for Nokia’s broadband devices by developing and executing automation strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation testing frameworks; implement automated test cases and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of automation engineers, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine test automation processes and best practices.
  • Analyze current automation systems and propose modernization strategies based on industry trends.
  • Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and quality of existing automation systems.
  • Track emerging technical trends and support the innovation of new technologies and applications.
  • Manage operational costs while maximizing the utilization of automation platforms across global teams.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Graduate or Master in engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience in test automation, preferably in the broadband or networking products sector.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium.
  • Proficiency in Python or TCL across various Linux distributions.
  • Experience in building and developing advanced automation frameworks.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated testing.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to optimize automation systems.
