As a Medical Coder, you will play a critical role in the healthcare industry by ensuring that medical records and billing information are accurately translated into standardized codes. Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Review medical records to ensure correct documentation supports the assigned codes.

• Conduct audits and reviews of patient records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• Certification in medical coding from AAPC, AHIMA, or equivalent credentialing body.
• Thorough understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and methodologies.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) software and medical billing applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate code application.
• Exceptional communication skills for interaction with healthcare providers and insurers.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient records and sensitive data.
• Minimum of two years' professional experience in a medical coding position preferred.
