Engineer Specialist, CSA for Pulp and Energy Business Line (based in Chennai, India)

We are looking for “Engineer Specialist, CSA” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, CSA Engineering, India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to carry out Design and Detailing of Boiler, Evaporator, Pipe Rack and Auxiliary Structures using STAAD. Sound knowledge in the Steel Structural Design concepts and in the connection design are essential.

In This Position, You Will Be Required To

Execute the engineering for Steel Structures including Steel layout, Design and Detail Engineering and associated engineering calculations. Carryout the Structural Design using Stadd Modelling for Boiler, Evaporator, Pipe Rack and Auxiliary Structures Structures according to various countries design codes. Execute the detail Engineering of the above said structures Coordinate with inter disciplines of the organization based on the project requirement Deliver the Outputs on schedule with Quality Managing and development of the reporting engineers/Designers Participating and conducting the Meetings based on the work requirement Follow the organizational procedures and practices during the execution

To Succeed This Role, You Will Need

Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Civil / Structural engineering. 6-15 years of experience in relevant field. Knowledge of Indian and International Design Codes & Standards Sound Knowledge in the Steel Structural Design Concepts and connection Design Rich Experience in Stadd Experience in Tekla, Auto CAD (additional values) Good written and oral communication skills in English.
