Electrical Lead Offshore And Power System ETAP Specialist

Qualification : Bachelor of engineering in Electrical

Work Experience : 10+ years

Roles & Responsibilities

• 2D and 3D activities review and recommendations
• Knowledge of main international standards, codes and regulations like International Electro technical commission(IEC), National Electric Code(NEC), Institution of electronic engineer ( IEEE).
• Knowledge of Electrical distribution plans based on High Voltage/Medium Voltage/Low Voltage systems available
• Design power generation and distribution, grounding, lighting
• Basic knowledge on Electrical tools for system studies, cable sizing, major equipment sizing.
• Design of protection schemes, substation layouts and other plant area electrical layouts
• Plan Discipline list of activities and deliverables as per Project schedule
• Plan project team member requirements and activities with technical roles to handle Project scope
• Manage activities and deliverables, in accordance with contractual requirements
• Ensure and control Project progress and control man hour consumption
• Capability to design and coordinate P&IDs for related systems .
• Plan and ensure proper Interdisciplinary workflow, interfaces, quality checks and approval
• Track and update man-hour and cost estimates
• Define and issue Purchase Requisitions
• Define terms for Technical Bid Evaluations and ensure compliance
• Vendor inspection test plan approval and support post order activities
• Provide feasible engineering solutions to construction team for implementation at site
• Participate to Vendor technical qualification and to procurement strategy definition
• Analyzing and understanding Tender documentation
• Prepare engineering man hour and material cost estimations
• Define guidelines for Discipline quantities estimation on Bid Projects and ensure compliance.
