About this Position The role is responsible for driving the Sales & Distribution strategy for the Consumer Business across defined channels and markets. The position involves appointing and managing distributors and field force teams, ensuring effective market penetration through Go-To-Market initiatives, and growing business. The incumbent will play a critical role in enrolling and managing large outlets, ensuring category-level visibility, and implementing the right merchandising practices to strengthen brand presence.

Strategic Responsibilities

What you´ll do

  • Appoint Distributors and Field force for Consumer Business.
  • Complete Sales & D responsibility as per Go-To-Market defined channel and markets
  • Grow business with the help of distributors/SSM and merchandiser/promoters.
  • Enroll large outlets for business and visit them as per PJP to drive sell out and sell in
  • Ensure share of shelf is maintained and at category level.
  • Ensure right merchandising tools are implemented
  • Monthly market intelligence report on category landscape.

Financial Responsibility

  • Ensure financial hygiene and financial exposure risk at zero level
  • Ensure complete supervision on scheme delivery to General Trade customers.
  • Ensure monthly remittance plan is closed with Distributor for business.
  • Monthly claim submission on time and cleared
  • Market expiry and Damage control with the help of RSM

  • Minimum Experience of 8 Years
  • Prior experience of working for FMCG brand is a must.
  • Strong analytical ability to read and act upon data for decision making.
  • People management, excellent negotiation skills, good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Goal oriented with ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines.
