About The Opportunity
A clinical role in the Hospital & Healthcare sector focused on Women’s Health and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. This on-site position supports a busy gynaecology department in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, delivering inpatient and emergency care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services. The team values timely clinical decision-making, high-quality documentation and compassionate patient care.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide on-site resident medical officer (RMO) coverage for the Gynaecology & Obstetrics department, including ward rounds, admissions, and discharge planning.
Assess and manage routine and emergency obstetric cases in the labour ward; stabilise patients and escalate to consultants as required.
Support operative procedures—prepare patients, assist in caesarean sections and minor gynaecological procedures, and coordinate perioperative care.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn care where indicated; liaise with paediatric/neonatal teams for referrals.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in patient records and electronic medical records (EMR); complete shift handovers and incident reporting.
Participate in on-call roster, emergency response drills, infection control measures and departmental quality initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
MBBS degree
Proven experience as an RMO or junior physician in an Obstetrics & Gynaecology setting
Clinical competence in emergency obstetric management and labour/delivery care
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinical documentation
Ability to work on-site, manage on-call shifts and escalate appropriately
Preferred
Postgraduate diploma or training in OBGYN (DGO / equivalent)
Experience assisting in caesarean sections and coordinating operating theatre workflows
Prior work in a high-volume maternity unit or exposure to neonatal resuscitation protocols
