Senior Program Manager - Translation Services

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced program manager to establish and lead our translation services capability. This strategic role requires deep domain expertise in translation and localization services, with focus on AI-driven solutions and scalable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

• Lead client engagements as primary point of contact for translation services
• Manage complex multi-language projects ensuring on-time, quality delivery
• Drive program governance, vendor relationships, and stakeholder management
  
  

• Develop AI-driven translation strategies including MTPE workflows and neural machine translation
• Implement hybrid human-AI processes for optimal efficiency and quality
• Evaluate and integrate emerging translation technologies and large language models
  
  

• Design go-to-market strategy and service offerings for translation services expansion
• Build pricing models, competitive positioning, and market opportunity assessments
• Create business cases for service line growth and investment
  
  

• Recruit and develop translation services professionals
• Establish quality frameworks, training programs, and centers of excellence
• Foster innovation and knowledge sharing across the organization
  
  

• 8-12 years in translation/localization industry with program management experience
• Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-language programs
• Strong vendor management and client relationship skills
• Experience with AI-powered translation tools and workflow automation
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 17100, ISO 18587) and compliance requirements
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  
  

• Expertise in CAT tools, machine translation APIs, and quality assurance processes
• Understanding of AI/ML models for translation and prompt engineering for LLMs
• Experience with translation workflow automation and integration platforms
• Knowledge of data privacy and security for AI-enabled services
