Baker Hughes is looking for a passionate and experienced Software Test Automation Architect to join our team focused on developing advanced ultrasound imaging solutions for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Test Automation and designing Automation Framework for complex software platform.
As a Test Automation Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Designing the common test framework for Platform and good reusability in the product based testing with good hand-on experience.
- Designing and implementation of test automation frameworks using Selenium, Squish, Playwright, and BDD methodologies.
- Developing of API and UI testing strategies for Embedded, web and mobile applications.
- Experiencing with automated test harnesses for integrated device testing.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing imaging frameworks, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Having Expertise in microservices architecture, Embedded Systems, cloud-native systems, and open-source automation solutions.
- Having strong experience in working on complex platform and product setup to lead the automation at platform level and product level.
- Developing architectural guidelines to streamline testing and reduce turnaround time.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps by working with DevOps engineers, Jenkins, and other automation tools.
- Integrating of testing into development workflows to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Creating cost-effective automation strategies saving significant release time.
- Standardizing of coding and testing practices across global teams, reducing post-launch defects.
- Experiencing in non-functional testing, performance analysis, and scalability assessments.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree or Masters in computer science or electronics engineering or related from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum of 13 -18 years of overall experience in Software Test Automation
- Have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Software Test Automation Architecture.
- Have Proficiency in Test Automation tools: Selenium, Squish, API/UI Testing, BDD
- Be Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C# for automation and system development.
- Be Proficient in running the test automation on embedded target devices.
- Be Proficient in using computer vision (ex: Amazon Rekognition) or equivalent AI tools to validate the signals and images using Reference vs Actual image.
- Have Familiarity to operate the Signal Generator, Attenuators and ability to read the signal delay and amplitude as per the need.
- Have Familiarity with message queuing system for scalable test environments.
- Have Experience with Windows, Linux, Android/iOS platforms and cross-platform testing.
- Have Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Have Worked on Ultrasound or Medical Imaging for Test Automation.
- Have Knowledge on Non-Destructive Testing
- Have demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
