We are looking for a Software Tester to join our .Net development team working on integrations between Inner Range Access
Control/Alarms Monitoring products and 3 rd party systems. This position requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and domain knowledge in security systems. An ideal candidate will have prior exposure to security-related technologies such as CCTV, Intercoms, Elevator Control systems, BMS and similar.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software integrations developed by the Team.
Assume responsibility over complex testing environment which encompass various interconnected software and hardware components. Ensure that the environment is properly configured and maintained.
Validate system compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure system reliability.
Work closely with the Customer Support team to provide assistance with resolving production enquiries and problems.
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve domain and network-related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years software testing experience
Proven experience in software testing, preferably within .Net development teams.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Understanding of API testing, integration testing, and networking protocols.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Windows Domain and Networking
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with Access Control and Alarms Monitoring domain
Familiarity with CCTV, Elevator Controls, Intercom systems.
Experience with security protocols, compliance standards, and networking configurations.
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
SQL DB skills
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is a plus.
