Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Customer Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for looking after customer complaint analysis and analysis and align with the customer, electronic parts supplier quality performance analysis and support continuous improvement with professional knowledge. Act with safety, efficiency, in Electrification Business Area in Bengaluru, INDIA. Reporting to the Manager – Customer Quality, you will oversee quality PPS (practical problem solving) to prioritise and solve the quality issue from customer claim, production line, and implement the short term and long-term solution on time and quality.

This role is contributing to the Smart power business for Nelamangala, Bangalore- India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Customer Complaint Handling – Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner by coordinating with service engineers, factory quality, and complaint teams.
  • Root Cause Analysis & CAPA – Analyse defective products, prepare detailed 8D and CAPA reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
  • Technical & Field Support – Conduct site visits for system analysis, address electronic and communication-related issues (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet), and ensure compliance with IEC 61850 standards.
  • Continuous Improvement & Training – Lead production line audits, provide training based on lessons learned, and enhance continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies like DMAIC.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Education & Experience – BE /B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5–7 years, or Diploma with 6–8 years of experience in low-voltage switchgear manufacturing.
  • Product Knowledge – Comprehensive understanding of LV switchgear products such as ACBs, MCCBs, switches, fuse gear, control gear, pilot devices, soft starters, and UPS systems.
  • Hardware & Electronics Design – Skilled in embedded hardware design, analog and mixed-signal electronics, and power electronics development.
  • Circuit Design & Communication – Proficient in digital electronics, microcontroller/microprocessor-based circuit design, and communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and USB.
  • Testing & Analysis – Practical experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, data analyzers, and signal analyzers; capable of waveform analysis.
  • Communication Protocols – Working knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, and IEC 61850 standards. Soft Skills & Quality Tools – Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and quality tools (Six Sigma, 7 QC tools); strong analytical, communication, and time management skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
