Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Principal Architect (Band 8) to lead our technology strategy and architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT architecture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of IT architecture strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
• Technology Roadmaps: Create and maintain technology roadmaps to guide the evolution of the IT landscape.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the design and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet architectural standards and business requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Innovation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve business processes and IT infrastructure.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT systems and architecture.
• Compliance: Ensure IT systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Knowledge of Architectural Frameworks: Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman
• Innovative Mindset: Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends
  
  

• Serve as functional lead for implementation projects across all capabilities.
• Work with clients and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
• Develop user stories and to-be process flows for complex and/or multi-capability solutions to support the design and development of solutions for our clients.
• Lead interactions with our customers, internal Operations teams, and external government clients.
• Lead solutioning initiatives such as design thinking, scouting, RFP responses, etc.
• Identify waste and digital enhancement opportunities.
• Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other technical employees across the Company within area of expertise.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.
