Job Description

As a Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining long-term relationships with key corporate clients. Your role involves understanding the financial needs of clients, providing tailored banking solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of corporate banking products to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. This position requires a strategic approach to identify business opportunities, cross-sell banking products, and ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the bank's reputation and maximizing financial growth and profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Identify client needs and provide customized banking solutions to meet their financial objectives.
  • Analyze and evaluate clients’ financial needs and propose appropriate banking products.
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated banking solutions and manage client accounts.
  • Monitor market trends to identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate banking sector.
  • Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations, and industry best practices in all client interactions.
  • Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process in collaboration with credit risk teams.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage transactional processes to ensure successful client engagements.
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all client interactions and transaction activities.
  • Oversee the resolution of client issues promptly to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Contribute to the bank’s strategic goals by meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in corporate banking or a similar financial sector role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships successfully.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends effectively.
  • Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
