Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate in Food & Beverage Service, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Positioned on the frontline of customer interaction, you will greet guests with a warm smile, assist them in navigating through our menu, and offer personalized recommendations based on their preferences. You will be the ambassador of our brand, with the goal of exceeding customer expectations, while simultaneously supporting the operational goals of the F&B department. This role demands excellent communication skills, impeccable grooming standards, and above all, a sincere passion for hospitality. A Guest Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering high-quality service, driving guest satisfaction, and helping foster a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your contributions will leave a lasting impression, turning first-time customers into loyal patrons and advocates.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they enter the dining area.
  • Present the menu to guests and make informed food and beverage recommendations.
  • Take accurate orders from guests and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are served according to the establishment's service standards.
  • Monitor guests' dining experiences and address any issues or requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining spaces.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and special functions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to meet guests' needs seamlessly.
  • Handle customer complaints calmly and ensure prompt resolutions to service-related issues.
  • Process payments, making sure to handle all cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, specials, and any changes to guest service protocols.
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, upholding the brand’s image at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
