Job Description

The Finance & Accounts Manager plays a critical role in the financial management and strategic planning of an organization. This position involves overseeing the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. The Finance & Accounts Manager is tasked with developing long-term financial plans, implementing effective financial controls, and optimizing the organization's financial performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to support business objectives. The Finance & Accounts Manager acts as a strategic advisor, providing insights and guidance to senior management and stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve financial goals. Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities and experience in managing financial teams to efficiently allocate resources and improve financial processes.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial operations and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgeting processes and financial forecasts.
  • Develop comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of annual financial audits.
  • Implement effective financial strategies to optimize the organization's profitability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and procedures for complete data integrity.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making and business growth.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure appropriate financial liquidity and stability.
  • Lead financial risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Train and supervise financial team members, fostering a culture of high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is essential.
  • At least five years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
