Job Description

A Radiographer, also known as a Radiologic Technologist, plays a crucial role in the medical field by performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans to aid in the detection and treatment of diseases and injuries. This professional is skilled in operating complex diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of quality control. A Radiographer collaborates closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to produce accurate and high-quality images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Additionally, they provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and using radiation protection measures.


Responsibilities

  • Operate complex diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images.
  • Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Review and analyze images for quality, making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain patient records, including the documentation of procedures performed.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly adhered to for patient and staff protection.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results for accurate diagnosis.
  • Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns they may have.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on imaging equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiographic techniques and technologies.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to support treatment planning and patient management.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and uphold ethical practices in radiography.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior radiography staff or students as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from a recognized board.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to operate and maintain sophisticated radiographic equipment efficiently.
  • Attention to detail for reviewing images and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiography, is preferred.

·      8 HRS DUTY / 2 DAY OFF PER WEEK

·      VISA/LABOUR CARD & INSURANCE WILL BE PROVIDED

·      TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED FROM MAIN LOCATION TO THE OTHER CLINIC.

·      WITH MOH LICENSE
