Software Tester (225-730)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other testers to identify bugs, enhance user experiences, and ensure the software meets the highest quality standards. As a Software Tester, your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying potential areas of improvement, providing feedback, and documenting the testing progress throughout the software development lifecycle. Your contributions will be integral to the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate logging tools and processes.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand product requirements and functionalities.
• Participate in requirement analysis to ensure testability during the product development process.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and performance.
• Conduct regression and system testing to validate and verify software improvements.
• Evaluate test results and make recommendations for product enhancements and issue resolutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
• Ensure the consistency and accuracy in software testing documents and reports.
• Continuously research and adopt new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior testing staff to maintain high testing standards.
• Ensure testing processes comply with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester, Quality Assurance Tester, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
