Job Description

The role of a Senior Executive - Civil is a critical leadership position within any construction or architectural organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership skills. Responsible for overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards while being completed on time and within budget. The Senior Executive - Civil is expected to effectively manage teams, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance to achieve project objectives. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise, project management prowess, and strategic thinking to drive growth and innovation in the field of civil engineering.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgeted costs.
  • Develop and implement project strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct risk management assessments to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members to foster professional growth.
  • Manage project budgets and control costs to optimize resource allocation.
  • Implement innovative construction techniques to improve efficiency and sustainability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects successfully.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in report writing and presentations.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
