Interior Designer (225-922)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an eye for aesthetics and function, aiming to create spaces that are both beautiful and practical. As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet clients' needs and expectations. You will be responsible for turning clients' ideas into tangible designs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine their style preferences, goals, and budget.
• Develop innovative design plans including color schemes, floor layouts, and furnishings.
• Create detailed and accurate project cost estimates and budgets.
• Research and source materials, furniture, and lighting to complement designs.
• Work closely with architects and contractors to ensure design integrity and adherence.
• Utilize design software to create visual representations of ideas and concepts.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure project specifications are met.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies in the industry.
• Prepare presentations for clients including mood boards and digital designs.
• Supervise and guide junior design staff in executing design tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and design standards in all client projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related design field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in interior design or similar roles.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and teams.
• Strong understanding of color schemes, textiles, spatial arrangements, and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of building codes, inspection regulations, and accessibility standards.
