Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate in the Food & Beverage (F&B) Service industry, you are the frontline ambassador for exceptional guest experiences. You are crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests are comfortable, attended to promptly, and have all their dining needs met with care. Your dynamic role involves interacting with diverse guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any special requests or issues that may arise. You will work closely with kitchen and management staff to deliver a seamless service experience. Excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment are key to succeeding in this role. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and establish a friendly dining atmosphere for them.
  • Accurately take and convey customer orders to the kitchen staff promptly.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure every guest receives personalized service tailored to their needs.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with patience and understanding.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area and work environment.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food orders are prepared accurately.
  • Process guests’ payments promptly and issue receipts as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with restaurant menu and specials to inform guests properly.
  • Support other team members with set-up and breakdown of events and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations for food handling.
  • Provide feedback from customers to improve service and product offerings continuously.

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience in restaurant or hospitality services role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach required.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education certificate is essential.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude.
