Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by health practitioners.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and condition changes.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention techniques.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control policies.
  • Utilize medical equipment effectively and safely, ensuring regular maintenance checks.
  • Participate in clinical training and development programs for skills enhancement.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate intervention and care.
  • Conduct wellness check-ups and screenings as part of preventive care services.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid nursing license in the state of employment.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program; BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and observational skills for patient assessment and care decisions.
