Job Description

The Tenant Coordination Manager plays a pivotal role in the realm of property management and retail development by overseeing and managing the successful coordination of tenant construction efforts within shopping malls, office buildings, and various commercial properties. This position requires a professional who is well-versed in construction management, leasing agreements, and tenant relations. The Tenant Coordination Manager interacts closely with tenants, construction teams, leasing agents, and property managers to ensure tenant spaces are built to specifications, schedules are adhered to, and any construction or operational issues are promptly addressed. Efficiency, strong communication, project management skills, and attention to detail are essential in ensuring that tenant spaces are delivered on time and meet contractual and aesthetic expectations. This role is integral in maintaining a harmonious relationship between stakeholders while optimizing tenant satisfaction and occupancy quality.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of tenant construction processes from planning to execution.
  • Manage relationships and communications between tenants, property management, and contractors.
  • Ensure tenant build-outs comply with the leasing agreements and construction standards.
  • Review and approve construction schedules to align with project delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings with involved parties to set expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure construction adheres to design plans and specifications.
  • Address and resolve any construction issues or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate tenant move-in procedures and ensure seamless transition to operational status.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to tenants during the construction phase.
  • Negotiate and manage changes or revisions in construction plans and lease terms.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on tenant construction progress and milestones.
  • Ensure applicable safety standards and regulations are maintained during construction projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in tenant coordination or construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
