Job Description

An ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Security Project Manager is a dynamic and pivotal role that encompasses the planning, execution, and delivery of complex security systems projects. This position is critical in effectively managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards. The ELV Security Project Manager is responsible for liaising with clients, coordinating with internal teams, and overseeing contractors to ensure the seamless integration and implementation of security technologies. The Ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of ELV systems, project management methodologies, and a keen eye for detail. This role demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing multifaceted projects within stipulated timeframes.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the implementation of ELV security systems projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors for project requirements and solutions.
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Monitor project progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to project plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project risks.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to update them on project statuses and address any concerns.
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed ELV systems to ensure operational standards.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in delivering quality services to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations for all projects undertaken.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team and other departments when required.
  • Analyze completed projects to identify areas for future improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in ELV security systems.
  • Strong understanding of ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Certification in Project Management, such as PMP, would be an added advantage.
