Job Description

The role of a Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects within an organization. They are responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of projects, working closely with project managers and team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining communication and documentation, managing schedules, and coordinating resources among various teams. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are paramount, as the Project Coordinator will have to juggle various tasks and deadlines effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation and plans.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
  • Develop a detailed project schedule to monitor and track progress.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of goals.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of projects.
  • Maintain accurate project files and reports, providing updates to the team.
  • Facilitate communication between project managers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Assist in performing risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Contribute to process improvement plans and suggest changes as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management roles preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, like MS Project or Trello.
