Job Description

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the face of our hotel and play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Your warm and friendly demeanor will help make our guests feel welcome and valued from the moment they step into our establishment. In this role, you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, manage reservations, answer inquiries, and provide guests with relevant information regarding their stay. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide high-quality services while adhering to our hotel's standards. Your responsibilities will also include handling guest complaints and resolving any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly and provide detailed check-in and check-out services.
  • Manage room reservations and adjust bookings as per guest requests.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Provide information and assistance regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and ensure issues are satisfactorily addressed.
  • Assist in the coordination of guest transportation and other special requests.
  • Keep accurate records of guest accounts and manage billing procedures.
  • Coordinate room maintenance requests with the housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain the reception area in an orderly and clean condition.
  • Uphold the highest standard of customer service at all times.
  • Follow hotel security protocols and ensure guest safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service is preferred.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and office equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
