An Estimation Engineer is a crucial position in the engineering and construction industries, responsible for predicting the costs and resources required for projects. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations in all projects.
  • Utilize estimation software to increase accuracy and efficiency in cost projections.
  • Review past project performances to improve future estimation processes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and contractors to clarify cost-related queries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in estimation or related roles.
  • Proficiency with estimation software such as Esticom, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve project goals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex cost information.
