Job Description

The role of a Project Co-ordinator is pivotal within any organization, as they are responsible for ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. As a Project Co-ordinator, you will be the linchpin that holds various project elements together, from resource management to stakeholder communication. You will be working closely with project managers and team members, coordinating schedules, meetings, and resources to align with the project's objectives. You will play an essential role in monitoring project progress, identifying any potential issues and risks, and ensuring that project goals are met within the established timelines and budgets. Your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that every aspect of the project is aligned and executed to the highest standards.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information to effectively support the team.
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise swiftly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Assist in resource allocation by coordinating task assignments.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all project-related inquiries and communications.
  • Use project management tools to track project performance and outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate project-related meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Ensure adherence to project standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them effectively.
  • Support team members to ensure efficient and smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a project coordinator or similar role within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
