We are seeking an experienced and creative Bakery Chef to join our esteemed kitchen team. Responsibilities

  • Create, test, and execute various baking recipes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain inventory levels by ordering supplies and managing stock efficiently.
  • Consistently check quality and presentation standards of all bakery products.
  • Monitor baking processes to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior bakery staff and apprentices.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute specialty menus.
  • Innovate and introduce new bakery items based on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Adjust and refine existing recipes to improve taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Oversee daily baking operations and ensure timely delivery of bakery items.
  • Maintain bakery equipment and tools, ensuring they are used and stored safely.
  • Set and maintain high standards for all production processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a bakery or as a pastry chef in a similar role.
  • Formal culinary training or baking certification is highly preferred.
  • Exceptionally creative with the ability to innovate new baking designs.
  • Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and production methods.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Passion for quality ingredients and commitment to food safety standards.
