Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using modern technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs to enhance functionality and performance.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance for existing applications.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Adhere to the team’s software development methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate and contribute to team meetings, providing feedback and proactively suggesting improvements.
• Ensure applications meet all design requirements and expectations established by the design team.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers in the team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop technical documentation to track the progress and functionality of mobile applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technology updates relevant to Android development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven software development experience with a focus on Android mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, from concept to deployment.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a strong foundation in OOP principles.
• Experience with Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries integration.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in Android application development.
