Job Description

As a Procurement/Supply Chain Executive, you will play an integral role in ensuring that our organization's procurement strategies are efficient and cost-effective. You will oversee the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. Your expertise will ensure that our supply chain operations are streamlined and aligned with business objectives. With a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management, you will assess market conditions, negotiate contracts, and implement purchasing strategies that meet both quality and cost standards. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to understand their needs, forecasting demand, and mitigating any risks associated with supply chain disruptions. Ultimately, your contribution will ensure that our operations run smoothly and that resources are utilized effectively and sustainably.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost.
  • Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms and agreements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and reasonable pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Maintain and update supplier data to ensure information accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and forecast future procurement needs.
  • Develop risk management strategies to handle potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and present to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies in procurement processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles is required.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management and supplier dealings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software for efficient operations.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for decision making.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
