Junior Video Editor (225-731)

Responsibilities

• Create and edit motion graphics for enhanced video storytelling.
• Maintain video editing equipment and software, ensuring they are up-to-date.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and best practices.
• Ensure videos adhere to pre-determined brand guidelines and standards.
• Synchronize video footage with music, sound effects, and dialogue tracks.
• Perform quality control checks before finalizing video projects for release.
• Assist in the storyboarding process to visualize ideas and concepts effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and production.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics software like After Effects is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback well.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
