Job Description

The Field Sales Executive is a critical part of the sales force, responsible for driving sales and market penetration through direct customer interactions and strategic outreach. Operating in a competitive business environment, this role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. The Field Sales Executive is expected to understand market dynamics, identify potential leads, and convert these into successful sales opportunities. This role involves extensive travel to meet potential clients and customers, requiring good time management and organizational skills. The Field Sales Executive will be instrumental in maintaining a company's existing clientele while actively seeking new opportunities to expand its customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs.
  • Present and demonstrate products to clients, tailoring solutions to specific requirements.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales and promotional strategies.
  • Track customer preferences and provide feedback to the product development team.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand awareness.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive products to better serve customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field sales or a similar customer-oriented role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales confidently.
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software to manage customer interactions and data.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to generating new leads.
