The Data Collection Executive is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for gathering and managing data that drives business decisions and strategies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of data analytics, and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments to understand their data needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in data science, statistics, or a related field, and possess excellent analytical skills. As a Data Collection Executive, you will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of data collection systems and processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data collected. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective data collection systems aligning with business objectives.
  • Gather, process, and verify data from various internal and external sources.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the data collected and stored.
  • Collaborate with IT team to enhance data collection procedures and technology.
  • Analyze data trends and report significant findings to management teams regularly.
  • Maintain detailed records of data collection processes to ensure transparency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to assess and address their data needs effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest data collection tools and industry best practices.
  • Train and guide junior staff on data collection and management methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and company data handling protocols.
  • Participate in the development of new systems to enhance data accessibility.
  • Support the data analyst team with data preparation and cleansing tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum of three years experience in data collection or a similar role required.
  • Strong knowledge of data management and analysis tools and software preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independent and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are necessary for the role.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws and practices to ensure compliance.
