Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into engaging and industry-standard final products.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand their video production goals.
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance video projects.
• Ensure that all video content adheres to brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Incorporate graphic elements, sound effects, and music to enhance video content.
• Manage and organize video files efficiently within editing software and storage systems.
• Stay current with the latest trends and tools in video editing and visual storytelling.
• Work with various video editing software to achieve high-quality results and efficiency.
• Perform color grading and correction to maintain consistency in all video outputs.
• Export and deliver final videos within specified formats and deadlines.
• Assist in the development of video concepts and storyboards during pre-production phases.
• Maintain an organized archive of all video assets and project files for future use.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate creative ideas and feedback clearly.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics is a plus.
