The Territory Service Representative - Mechanical is a crucial role within our service department, responsible for delivering exceptional service solutions and support to our valued clients across a designated territory. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining strong customer relationships and possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems and repairs. This position requires an individual who is both skilled technically and customer-focused, comfortable handling escalated issues, and able to work independently while adhering to company standards and policies. The Territory Service Representative - Mechanical will work closely with the service management team to ensure optimal service delivery and contribute to overall customer satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site service and repair support for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
  • Manage service calls and prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Document service activities and provide detailed reports to management and clients.
  • Train and guide customers on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in mechanical technologies.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations during service activities.
  • Assist in identifying potential sales opportunities and relay information to the sales team.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical systems service or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer queries professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Proficient in using service management software and diagnostic tools.
