Job Description

The Sales Manager for IT Services is a strategic role tasked with leading and driving the sales initiatives of an organization's IT services division. This position requires an individual who is not only adept in sales techniques but also possesses a deep understanding of IT services and solutions. The Sales Manager will develop sales strategies, build and maintain client relationships, and work to expand the business's customer base. This role demands a results-oriented professional who can meet or exceed sales targets while managing a team of sales professionals. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting IT service markets.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve set revenue goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales channels for IT services.
  • Analyze market trends to develop pricing strategies for competitive service offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing to coordinate and optimize promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Oversee customer relationship management and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review team performance and set future objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasting, and budget proposals to senior management.
  • Ensure the sales team meets compliance standards and regulations at all times.
  • Mentor and provide professional development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Negotiate contract terms and agreements with prospective and current clients effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, with IT services exposure preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
