Job Description

As a Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers who visit the store or contact us via phone and email. Your primary role will involve helping clients find products that suit their needs while providing outstanding customer service. You’ll need to become an expert in our product lines to offer effective solutions and alternatives to customers, thus contributing to the store's overall success. As a Sales Advisor, you will also be responsible for identifying potential leads and maintaining relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people and thrives in a fast-paced, retail environment. If you have a knack for building rapport and persuasion, you will excel in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences thoroughly.
  • Provide expert advice on products to guide purchasing decisions effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge through ongoing training.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by the management team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Process transactions accurately and manage the point-of-sale system diligently.
  • Set up merchandising displays and ensure products are presented attractively.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Participate in promotional activities and seek opportunities to up-sell products.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report stock discrepancies promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain store standards.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Advisor or similar customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Adept at working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
