Job Description

As a Store Manager in the textile industry, you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store that specializes in textiles, including fabrics, clothing, and home textiles. Your role will involve managing a team, ensuring excellent customer service, overseeing inventory, and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and organized shopping environment, leading promotional campaigns, and maintaining high standards of store appearance. Furthermore, you will analyze sales reports, manage stock levels, and ensure that the store operates within budgetary constraints. Strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of the textile industry's trends and demands are essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity at all times.
  • Promote excellent customer service and resolve any complaints or issues promptly.
  • Manage, recruit, train, and develop store staff to enhance performance and sales.
  • Monitor sales trends to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by coordinating with suppliers and managing inventory.
  • Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze sales reports and financial records to improve store profitability.
  • Implement merchandising plans and store displays to attract customers and boost sales.
  • Conduct regular store audits to maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing sales and advancing business development initiatives.
  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure coverage aligns with peak customer times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in textiles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing store operations.
  • Proficient in using retail management software and financial management systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the capacity to manage complex situations.
  • Ability to analyze financial and sales data to inform strategic decision-making.
